TCL Flip phone just purchased. Rogers employee inserted new SIM and set up on My account. Phone works fine for talk and texting.
Caller ID is no working.
My plan says I have voicemail, but when I try to set it up the voice says my phone number is not recognized.

was voicemail working on your old cell phone before you switched?
this will help us determine if its a provision issue or if your calling the wrong retrieval number.
Are you calling your own number to check voicemail? if so you need to save the correct voicemail retrieval number and call that one.
you should also call customer service because maybe there is a problem with how the voicemail is provisioned on your line, and only they can fix it
