physical SIM to eSIM not functioning

Okay so I've upgraded from an Iphone 6 to an Iphone 15 and im trying to convert my old physical SIM into an eSIM. I know the instructions on how to do it, but everytime I try to do it, the website says that somethings wrong on Rogers end and then locks me out for 24 hours if I keep trying to do it. Does anyone know how to get it to work or how long this Rogers issue will last?

You more than likely need to contact Customer Care to change your SIM. Due to an incredible amount of SIM swap scams plaguing carriers globally. This is just one way Rogers is trying to keep your account and services secure.
