Wrong number changed on the Rogers app

I've been here awhile

I just tried to change my spare number on the rogers app. But it changed my primary number on the account. I was definitely on the right number that needed changing. I also have a screenshot of every page. I then tried to do it again and my primary number changed again. I’ve had my number for a long long time and indefinitely don’t want to change the primary line. I’m panicking. Can this be reverted? Trying to calm tech support but they are closed.

I've been around
This happened to me the other day as well! I’ve been directed to contact the fall out team, but I can’t get through to speak to a rep from that department. I’ve been constantly waiting on 2+ hour waits which isn’t ideal since I can’t stay on the phone all day. It’s frustrating!! I’ve had my number for almost 20 years.

Oh no! I'm really sorry to hear this! 

 

Was this number originally a Rogers number? Or does it belong to another carrier? 

 

Since posting, have you been able to retrieve your phone number?

 

Once a telephone number is changed, we can normally retrieve it if:

 

- that line is still active with us

- the number was a Rogers number (not from another carrier)

- it is still within 60 days of the telephone number being changed
