I was trying to port my number to a new carrier because rogers wanted to charge me $90/ month. The rep was incredibly rude and condescending. They're more concerned with pushing mastercard sales than helping people. Why in the world would I want a rogers mastercard when I'm canceling my services? And why try to sell me internet that isn't even available in my area?
My husband also cancelled his plan, and they messed up his last bill. We have to wait 6-8 weeks for a credit, and im not even sure how they'll credit that since we don't have a PAD set up, and rogers SHOULDN'T have our account details. The rep dismissed him saying it'll go through and then disconnected his chat. This was his 4th chat attempt that day, and he waited over an hour, 99th in line, after the previous chats had been automatically disconnected because they were too busy. Good luck calling when your number has been ported, it just takes you in circles. You can't get through to anyone, and then you get disconnected.
Filed a complaint and they called him back at some random number to discuss that wasn't even his.
Rogers is awful. Don't sign a contract.
