I have this on my iPhone line and have had it for … ever??? lol in all seriousness I think I’ve had that same Value “Pak” since my iPhone 3GS I got in 2009.
What I want to know is what exactly is this. The only thing I do know is that part of the charge is for Visual Voicemail + (or VVmail+), a feature which I cherish and love. I think that gives me 35 messages longer than standard (although I have 80 on my phone so my mileage definitely varied!).
From there we leave solid fact and enter conjecture - my Googlewander suggests it also includes US/Intnl Preferred Rate Calling. I’d love confirmation on that before I try it, because 5 cents / minute to the US is a lot more reasonable than $1/minute! If I have that then I don’t need to mess around with VoIPs and calling cards for short occasional overseas calls.
It also seems to suggest that I have unlimited international text/picture/video messaging which is a nonissue for me as my plan has that.
So can someone please tell me just what wonders that $9 exactly unlocks? Because there’s also a $7 visual voicemail option or with iOS 17 visual voicemail is kinda baked in with live voicemail although nowhere near as inclusive as VVmail with the backend server support from Rogers.
You actually might be able to switch to that $7 pack and save yourself a couple bucks without losing anything of note. I'd have to check your account to answer this one definitively, however!
