Rogers Trade In Conditions?

coolspot18
I've been here awhile

Hello,

I'm currently in the process of trading in an iPad. From my understanding, there are only three conditions required for trading in an iPad:

  1. It must turn on.
  2. The touchscreen must work and not be cracked.
  3. All account information on the device (e.g., iCloud/Find my iPhone credentials) must be removed.

My device meets these criteria but is slightly bent and has a scuffed aluminum frame. However, the store believes it is not eligible for trade-in. The iPad is fully functional.

Could you please clarify Rogers' trade-in policy? Are there additional factors beyond these three that you examine?

The store seems more concerned about CSAT and dealing with subsequent likewize complaints than following policy?

Thanks.

A picture or two would best illustrate the condition the device is in. A lot of trade-ins are handled through a third party, making the system a little more complicated to just say, yes or no.
