I've been trying to use the Live Chat to reschedule an installation appointment, but each time I finish queuing and am greeted by a specialist, they can not see my messages. I am using Chrome browser on Windows 10 PC, I can see my messages but they can not and then the chat transcript also shows none of my messages but I've taken pictures of them appearing to go through in the chat window so I'm not sure how to fix it. I've tried refreshing page and restarting in between tries, no luck.

So what can I possibly do? I live in a basement apartment so using the phone is challenging, my phone might drop the call while in the hold queue.

You may be able to quickly cancel +and perhaps reschedule) by simply calling the main Rogers number, and if you don't hear the voice asking you if the call is about your tech install, simply choose tech support option, so then you'll probably hear the option about dealing with your install appointment. From there you might be able to solve this within 5 minutes (if tech support has long wait) .
You can also try logging in to your Rogers account and see if you can reschedule or cancel that way.

Unfortunately no options like that in my login on Rogers, both in the website and in the app. There was a help article suggesting that, but I can't find anything to do with upcoming appointments on the site or in the app. I have had trouble with calling because I'm in a basement apartment and reception is dicey, tough to call during this time of year I'd have to stand outside in a snowstorm if I did it today. maybe tomorrow I'll try to call in from the car or something.
