Firestick

My firestick which is about 3years old has stopped working. When I turn on the tv(LG smart tv,approx 4yearsold), just says no signal. Did all the usual things like unplugging and hitting the appropriate buttons,etc.. Anyone else having this issue? And if yes, is there anything I can do to fix it?

If you search the Internet for "fire tv stick stopped working" you will get a bunch of articles with suggestions and troubleshooting tips.  There is also Amazon's official Fire TV support page.  (See the tips in the Device Issues section)

How are you powering your Fire TV stick?  With the power adapter and USB cable that Amazon shipped or are you powering it with one of your TV's USB ports?

Try connecting your Fire TV stick to a different TV and/or to a different HDMI input on your current TV.

Go into the Xfinity app and check to see whether the Fire TV stick is connected to Wi-Fi.  If it is, then your Fire TV stick is not totally dead; you may be able to reset it back into a good state.

Thank you first and foremost. I have done the switching ports etc. Plugged into HDMI by using what was in package when I bought it. I have a feeling it is just dead. However, I have one on bedroom tv and that stopped working at the same time. Coincidence? I will try everything again. See what happens. Thanks and Caio.

Oh and I am going to the Xfinity app. Well download it. To see if it's not hooking up to the internet. Seeing as that's the problem. No signal is a pretty good sign that it's not. Lol. Thanks again.
