Asked far too many questions for which the answers they should already have in my file.  Asked for $60.00 deposit to be taken off my first bill.  Sounded too good to be true.  Here is a copy of the email they sent me . . . is this real or fake?

It's fake!

I got called teice today, The first time, they called from a Florida number. They hung up on me after I told them Rogers doesn't have international call centres.

The second time they called and from a Toronto number this time, which wasn'too long after the first. They asked me how long I had been with Rogers. I told them I haven't been with Rogers since 2016. They didn't seem to understand me saying I wasn't a Rogers customer that took my number with me. After explaining that to them a second time. They hung up on me again. 😛

This has SCAM written all over it, you did the right thing by hanging up on them.  hanging up means one less victim to scam.

Just got this phone call too. Smelled fishy. I asked for a number to call them back, but when I called I knew it wasn’t Rogers. Hung up. Scam!

I got another one of these today.  They try so hard but fail so badly.  I was offered a free iPhone 15 Pro Max or an s24 Ultra at no cost that I would get to keep after 2 years and a $45 a month plan for Canada/US calling, texting, including US roaming in the US, and 60GB of data.  They always introduce themselves as calling from The Promotions Department.
