I received two calls from people pretending to be Rogers Sales offering phones. The thing that was scary was that they were able to provide me with the last four digits of my account # and my current balance. Please look into this, because this seems like accounts were hacked for them to get this information.

I had exactly the same experience this week. A legitimate Rogers / Shaw sales representative got in touch with us to remind us to renew our service, and provided options for renewing our plan. MInutes later, a second person made the same outreach, but from a non-Rogers or Shaw email account ("scs-sales").
After speaking directly to the first (legit) salesperson, he said the other person didn't show up in their system at all. He said they should be able to provide our account number, our modem number and would have either a Shaw or Rogers email address.
Both of them sent me renewal contracts through Docusign. When I ignored the scammer, he called me to ask me to sign the document. I told him I wouldn't because he didn't provide me with my account information. He didn't offer to, so I told him I wasn't signing anything. He said "okay, thanks" and hung up. Happy to share their information for future reference.
