Telus message, on Rogers tv??

I have Rogers iIgnite bundle. tv picture was breaking up yesterday and this message flashed up on the screen.  Telus? on Rogers? hiw come??

@jargey300  What part of the country do you live in and what channel were you watching?  Telus is probably the service provider from which Rogers gets the source signal for the channel.  I just can't think of which one this could be for.

I had the exact same message for a few seconds this afternoon while watching The Kelly Clarkson Show on NBC.

I have not seen this happen myself yet.

Can't really say why you saw the Telus logo but there are lots of ways that a BDU can receive the source signals that they feed into their IPTV encoders.  These days, some (or even all) aspects of delivering an IPTV service can be outsourced, and/or can involve 3rd-party service providers who, themselves, may also use their own external service providers.
