Moncton Channel lineup for Brampton Location

Ronjc
I've been here awhile

I have been on the Ignite Popular TV package for about a month now. Since it now has no flex channels I added the BNN Blomberg channel last week and the next day my channel lineup was switched to the Moncton area. Most of the channels I have now have a different number. The Weather Network is now channel 2 instead of 23 and it is for Moncton weather. CP24 is totally gone. I phoned tech support and they opened a ticket and 4 days later there is no change. I spoke to a technical support manager  and he doesn't know how to fix it. I doubt that anyone is really working on it or that it will be fixed anytime in the near future. It looks like I am stuck with Roger's incompetence since Bell doesn't have fiber internet on my street, and I don't want to switch to slow internet. It looks like Rogers has a monopoly on my location and I just have to put up with their endless issues. I would guarantee if I phone them today for a progress report that they won't even know what I am talking about and I will have to explain it all over from the beginning to someone working from home. I guess I will eventually have to figure out how to make a CRTC complaint.

Hello, @Ronjc.

Thank you for being our Community member and for your post.

I understand how inconvenient it can be when your channel lineup suddenly changes; it can be frustrating when the channel lineup and location settings are different than expected.

I appreciate you reaching out to tech support; depending on the complexity of the problem, resolution may take time. We can follow up and update you; please send us a private message at @CommunityHelps. You can find details about our private messaging in this blog.

Regards,

RogersMoin
