Why can I record to my PVR remotely on my android phone but not with my apple phone?

You definitely should be able to record from your iPhone. Simply tap on the program you want to record from the Live TV tab and you should be taken to another screen with 3 options:

Watch

Record

Series Info

If you're missing the Record option, please ensure that you have the most up to date version of iOS installed and try reinstalling the app if you are fully updated.
