Holiday Favourites Stingray - subscription required?

Christine128
I've been here awhile

Hi is anyone else getting this message “ subscription required” for Holiday Favourites? I have never had an issue before, and we get all of the other Stingray channels…

Re: Holiday Favourites Stingray - subscription required?

Hello, @Christine128.

Have you tried using the Stingray app? You can launch the app with the Stingray tile in the apps menu or say "Stingray," "Stingray Music," or "Stingray App" into the voice search.

If you still can't listen to your Holiday Favorites, you have the Xfinity Standalone TV, and Stingray Music is incompatible.

Thank you for understanding.

Cheers,

RogersMoin

Good morning @Christine128!

The Holiday Countdown app and Stingray Music should be free for all subscribers unless you have Ignite Standalone TV. I apologize for any inconvenience but we can troubleshoot with you!

We'd be happy to take a closer look to see what is going on! Please feel free to send a private message to @CommunityHelps so we can assist you further. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, you can find out more here.

Re: Holiday Favourites Stingray - subscription required?

Hi channel 374 Holiday Favorites is saying we need a subscription  ( SM101) when I finally got ahold of Rogers by phone they said that this particular channel is part of a $3.99 subscription which includes karaoke and other Stingray channels, which I think is ridiculous since the Holiday Favorites channel is one that we only listen to for a handful of weeks AND we pay enough for cable as it is.
