I used Ignite all year to watch live TV, watch my recordings and to schedule recordings on my Lenovo tab p11. Recently when I entered ignite a message appeared on the screen to update to Xfinity. If I didn't update I was not allowed to use ignite. So I clicked on update. I was taken to Google Play store. My Google Play store does not include Xfinity. It has a test version. I tried installing that and opening it and it just took me back to ignite and the process repeated itself.
I have spoken and written to Rogers and have not yet been satisfied with any response. I got one message from them that the problem had been solved but it hasn't.
I just bought a new Samsung Galaxy a9 and the problem is the same on it.
The same problem exists on my new Google pixel 9 .
My wife has a Samsung Galaxy tab a 7 Lite and she was able to get Xfinity.
What's wrong with me? Why would my Play store not have Xfinity and other people do?
Thanks.

@Johnnyr1 Contrary to what Rogers' marketing teams have to say, the change from "Rogers Ignite TV" to "Rogers Xfinity TV" (at least so far) is nothing but a rebrand. On the Apple App Store, Rogers released "Rogers Xfinity Stream" as an upgrade to "Ignite TV", and it is pretty much the same app with a different name.
Same goes for the change from "Ignite HomeConnect" to "Rogers Xfinity".
There will be more Rogers Xfinity-branded services coming out but so far, the Rogers Ignite TV and Internet services are still the same services with new branding.
Also, on the Google Play Store, look for the Rogers Xfinity and Rogers Xfinity Stream apps to make sure that you are not searching for the Comcast variants. If you also look carefully at the URLs, you will see the original Rogers Ignite naming.

Meanwhile I can't watch TV on my tablet.
Thanks.

You mean until you download the correct app to your tablet as per the instructions given by @-G- in the last sentence of his post - perhaps you didn't see that edit? I suggest you delete the old app first too, so that your tablet isn't confused.

I've tried every app with the word Xfinity in it. None of them work. For some reason I seem to be the only person who doesn't have Xfinity in their app store. Maybe it has something to do with how I set up my app store??
Can you confirm that your phones are accessing the Canadian (en-CA) Google Play Store?

Are you using a VPN or other unconventional means to get to the Internet? If so, turn that off, or perhaps access the Internet from another location? Do you have some other weird setting on your device?
Try a different browser or look at the following link for other suggestions (usually apply to computers, but may be helpful:

Or .... are the Samsung Galaxy a9 and Google pixel 9 both Canadian versions of those phones? Don't know what Google does with the pixels, but Samsung divides the world into regions, each with their own firmware loads, and probably different addresses for the google play store. So, for example, if the a9 was a foreign version, you wouldn't be able to load a Canadian firmware version and most likely wouldn't be able to access the Canadian or North American version of the play store.

Glad you got it working. As an FYI, you can login to the website via a browser and your Rogers credentials:
https://rogersxfinitystream.rogers.com/
This is the usual way via a computer since there's no app for a computer, but it also works for devices like phones and tablets.
