Centre Ice

I'm here a lot

In the past I subscribed to Centre Ice so I could watch all the Leafs games. But if I am understanding correctly, Centre Ice is no longer offered individually. Now, again if I am understanding correctly, to catch all the Leafs games I have to purchase their Sports Pac, which includes a lot of sports I could care less about, and at a much higher price. Do I have that right? (I'm hoping not)

@dfm : It's getting more and more complicated all the time. See the following link on the topic:

https://thehockeywriters.com/nhl-blackouts-why-they-happen/

If you wish to know more, simply type "hockey blackouts" or similar terms into a web search engine. For example:

https://support.sportsnetplus.ca/hc/en-gb/articles/19387070364434-NHL-Game-Finder

https://www.nhl.com/info/watch-nhl-zipcode-blackout-lookup

In addition, Prime Video has exclusive rights to all Monday night games...

I've been here awhile

I subscribed to just the NHL Centre Ice part of the Super Sports Pack back in late August for $209.00

It includes about a dozen Centre Ice only channels plus two of the six OHL action pack channels. (chs. 450-467)

I think early bird pricing is over now however so the price would be up to $219.00.

Thanks. I'll check the links you provided.

I did as well. But then last week I couldn't get a Leafs game without signing up foir their Sports Pac at $35/month. There was no mention of Centre Ice as a less expoensive option. PLUS - I already had Centre Ice. Then last night, couldn't watch a Leafs game again. I tried Rogers support but that was a waste of time. Their Chat rep said she couldn't help and advised me to call Customer Support, but that they were closed up for the day. A link another responder offered as a way to help led to the options, but it wasn't clear you could buy just Centre Ice, or whether Centre Ice provides all games. I realize Monday games are not covered because they are on Prime +, but aside from those it's a big foggy. Thanks for responding.

It depends where you live. If you Live in the Greater Metropolitan Toronto Area, then NHL Centre Ice will NOT have Maple Leaf games, the reason is simple, Centre Ice was and is meant to let you watch "out of market" hockey games, so basically hockey games in other NHL cities. if you live in toronto, you probably need Sportsnet Ontario to watch Maple Leaf Games, this is how it always was.

Thanks for responding. I live in New Brunswick. But the thing is, as a Centre Ice subscriber I never had a problem, except the last two weeks, where despite having Centre Ice I couldn't watch games.

Your best bet is to call Rogers Customer Service and have them determine what is the issue.

Yes, I need to do that. Thank you for responding.

Had a chat with a Rogers sales person. Couldn't find any record of my purchasing Centre Ice, and maybe I was expecting that it was automatically renewed, as I had been watching games from the start of the season until the last couole of weeks when I could no longer access them. Anyway, bough a new subascription so wallet lighter but problem solved.

Centre Ice have a brief free preview period every year. This year it was October 4-11.
