Wifi in Rural Northern Ontario

J_MacD
I've been here awhile
There is a Rogers Cellular Tower on the southside of Lake Talon. Can I access wifi data from it? I see that Maplewifi (USA ATT firm) uses Rogers, Bell and Telus towers to cell wifi packages to stream data.. can I not buy a package to do this through Rogers?

Good afternoon @J_MacD,

Welcome to the Rogers Community Forums!

Are you looking to get a Wireless Home Internet service? Our Network Coverage Map does indicate that wireless service is indeed available in the Lake Talon area. With our Extended Coverage service you will be able to use a third party service for wireless Internet, however I do want to advise you that Extended Coverage is meant to provide additional coverage to our customers in areas they sometimes travel to. It's intended to be used occasionally and the majority of your monthly usage  must occur on the Rogers network.

If you're looking at using the Wireless Internet service on a daily basis I would recommend you to check out the available package and pricing here. You can also view the FAQs at the bottom of the same page.

Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns.
