Can’t watch news online.

I live in Mississauga and visiting Parry Sound, and trying to watch CTV national and local news. Why do I have to be connected to my home wifi??? If I was home, I’d put the tv on !!!

Are you using the Rogers Xfinity Streaming app?  When you're outside your home network you can only get the TV Go channels when using the App and Live TV.  Some channels are not available on the go due to certain negotiations between Rogers and the content owners. I believe that CTV was recently deleted from TV Go (and on-demand?) due to Rogers/Bell negotiations breaking down for certain channels. Bell owns CTV.

You should be able to watch your recordings while you're in Canada, so set a recording and then access that recording when the recording is finished.  Obviously there will be a delay, but it may provide access to CTV news for example.

P.S. CTV News Network is available on TV Go...
