I moved my devices from my fixed wireless with my own router to Rogers 5G with Nokia Fastmile gateway. All my devices connected easily EXCEPT one laptop running Win10 with built in Intel WiFi adapter. Can't get it to connect after triple checking credentials, reboots, etc. Any suggestions?

Ooops. I was able to get my wifi adaptor working with the Fastmile by uninstalling the driver and rebooting.

My 5G Internet home service is a big improvement over the rural wireless "radio" I used to have.
I set up the Nokia recently to use its USB -c port as a NAS via samba protocol. Works great but I found that two of my devices (printer and laptop) at the furthest distance away from the Nokia had dropped their wifi connections. When I unplugged the USB drive both devices reconnected to the Nokia wifi. Coincidence? Or is there a technical explanation?

Hello @Jayzz,
Thank you for your post here on the Rogers Community Forums!
That does seem to be an odd issue occurring. Are you noticing this happen with all your devices or just the ones that are connected the farthest away? And are they only disconnecting while the storage device is connected?
We would not be able to provide full connectivity support while the storage device is connected, but one thing you can check is to ensure there are no firewall settings that might be causing any issues.
If we do have any community members using the Nokia 5G Fastmile gateway that may have a similar setup, hopefully they might be able to provide some further insight.
Regards,
RogersJermaine

Thanks. Only the devices farthest away dropped wifi connection and reconnected when I pulled the USB thumbdrive. I haven't set any firewall rules so I assume they remain in the "default mode".
Hopefully another forum member will try this and see if they have the same issue.
