Nokia FastMile 5G Gateway 3.2 - Speed Test not working for the last 2 month

Hello, 

Something happened in the last 2 month probably a firmware update that broke Speed Test function.

 

Currently I click on "Start Speed Test" and after I acknowledge the "Privacy Policy" test starts and I get a pop-up message with "something went wrong" at bottom and results box display message "ERROR"

Because we users do not have visibility into those settings my guess is that only Rogers network team can fix it.

Let me know if you need log info.

Same here. Maybe Ookla didn't like Nokia using their website for testing?

I can confirm, my FastMile Gateway cannot use the onboard Ookla speedtest either.

They have disabled the function in the latest Firmware. Most likely so that customers can't test the speed from the Nokia modem itself. I have connected various devices via the ethernet ports at the back and I do not get even close to the 100 Mbps download. It seems like Nokia and/or Rogers latest Firmware is throttling back any 3rd Party Mesh Routers down to less than 25 Mbps download when connected to either of the ethernet ports. 

 

You can still go to speedtest.net and check the speed of your Internet.

So I have not experienced any slower speeds with the latest firmware in my Nokia Fastmile. But I did find that in order for me to obtain the advertised speed it had to connect to n78 (3500Mhz) 5G.
