Although, we don't typically support third-party equipment, I do find it odd that the WiFi password is working on all your other devices, except this one. What you could try doing is logging into the Admin at 192.168.0.1 and view the current settings to see if anything looks off. For example, you can confirm that the 2.4G password is the same as the 5G password. If it turns out to be a single band steering password, you can try updating it.

Which Android box do you have, how old is it and what version of software is is running?
I also searched the Internet for "android tv wifi password invalid" and got quite a few results.

Which gateway do you have? Some devices, usually those with older or flawed Wi-Fi chipsets, just won't connect to the XB8.
if its connected ethernet, no password is needed. not sure what password you are being asked to enter? maybe check your manufacturer for support?
