XB7 modem: disabling DHCP but keeping WIFI on

I want to use XB7 modem as Wi-FI extender, but turned off its DHCP server functionality , as it's run on my own router connected to Nokia fiber modem and handling Private to Public network routing. When I go to bridge mode, Wi-Fi would not be available. Is there a way to set up the device as mentioned in the subject?

No, there is no option to disable DHCP on the XB7 gateway.

The Xfinity Gateways were also never meant to be used in that configuration.
