Upload problem with my intercom

I've been here awhile
My internet seems to be blocking notification messages that my intercom unit upload to a server when someone rings my door bell.
This intercom is connected to the modem directly with a cable.
What could be the reason? I'm trying to see if any applications or ports are blocked but I can't do that with the myRogers app.

Thank you for being our Community member. We appreciate you posting concerns about your connected intercom.

 

I can imagine the inconvenience of not receiving the intercom notifications. To manage your home network, you need the Ignite HomeConnect app. The MyRogers app is to manage your account.

 

Do you have the Advanced Security enabled on your Ignite Gateway modem? You can check this by launching the HomeConnect app. If it is enabled, turn it off and ring the doorbell to see if you can receive the notification.
