How long should it take to get a temp wire buried? My service started in June 2023

Temporary cables are supposed to be temporary and should be buried (or the broken cable to your home repaired) within two months, weather permitting.  If nothing has been done yet (e.g. no utility locates, no updates from Rogers), I would follow up with Rogers just to confirm whether or not a cable burial has been scheduled.

my temporary cable was installed on Tuesday, April 25, 2023. I got a notice that Rogers would be back to bury my cable line, usually in 6 to 8 weeks. It has now been over a year, and no one has ever showed up.

it’s a fairly short run of cable, and it looks like a simple job. When can I expect to have the job completed?. When can I expect to have the job completed?

@tjbillo That is a long time.  Did Rogers ever arrange for utilities locate to be performed?  If not, something fell through the cracks.  You will need to contact Rogers to follow up: https://www.rogers.com/cableburial

Oh geez and I thought waiting 6 months for 20 feet of cable to be buried was a long time.
