When we have a power outage we can watch tv but no audio. This never happened with regular cable, we could still listen and watch (on power backup system, eg, generator). Anyone else notice this happening since the switch from cable to Ignite?

@jbird : I'm a bit surprised that you have anything when you have an area power outage. IgniteTV is IPTV (delivered over the internet - Internet Protocol TV), so the method of delivery is different than legacy digital cable. Do you have Internet when the power is out? If so, the node serving your location may still have some useful battery life or the power outage hasn't affected the node that serves the households in your area. You may wish to attempt to do a Restart of your system using the Home Connect app, or via Rogers - Settings - Help, to see if that restores your audio. Or simply reboot the box?
Here's a link to a detailed discussion on the topic of power outages:
Also, when you were on digital cable were you using a PVR because in that case the storage of your recordings was local on a hard drive, vs IgniteTV where recordings are stored in the cloud - or were you talking about live TV on digital cable/IgniteTV?
