Made a new thread, for general ANIME discussion

Spring season has started.. watching most on that list... 
Nothing i am SUPER excited for every week unfortunately..

Probably the BEST one.. which has only had the 1 epsisode (2nd & 3rd seem delayed) is 
Koutetsujou no Kabaneri - Its like steampunk & zombies!

Macross so far seems interesting. 
Its Macross... but like almost adding in the magical girl genre to it...
The veritechs fight along side these 'idols' who almost have magic powers to help fight people infected with VERS.
It pretty much makes them stronger, and filled with RAGE uncontrolably.  
But these idols singing helps calm it down and remove it 😛

Watched first episode. Looks very much like "Monster" style. 🙂 I wonder if it's the same creators (haven't looked into it too much lol)

Have watched recently Ajin, netflix exclusive.
REALY liked it.
Random people end up becoming Ajin, that they cant die, regenerate, etc.

One group of these Ajin sort of want to take over as superior beings, etc.

They also have these 'spirit' manifestations as well.

Havent posted yet.. but overly NOT looking forward to the summer.. prospects so far dont look that great 😞

All the summer lineup seems to be listed now..
Very MEH 😞  Not much to get excited about.. be a very slow summer season.
A lot of sports/slice of life type ones.

The few that I will likely watch:

• Arslan Senki 2 - Second Season of Arlsan
• Masou Gakuen HxH - Guy in a girls school that defend using battle armor.. looks similar to IS
• Nejimaki Seirei Senki: Tenkyou no Alderamin - war based one
• QUALIDEA CODE - kids put asleep/chrio when the world is attacked, later they awaken with powers to fight back.
• Taboo Tatoo - guy given a tatoo which gives him powers, and meets a girl whos trying to collect them.
• Tales of Zestiria the X - looks like a kind or king arthur & angels.
• Berserk - New berserk series.

Good lord. So much new anime.

I still need to get around to finishing Attack on Titan, Helling, and both of the Full Metal Alchemist series.

LOL Way behind :).

Anime comes out pretty fast and furious.  
The little bit you see on Netflix, etc.. is really only just a SMALL sampling.

Usually there are about 40 different shows airing per 'season'.

Each season is quarterly.. 3 months.

I am watching this new Anime... forget it's name... Zero something? Guy name Subaru as main character.

People made fun of it by saying Mitsubishi and Honda is in it too... but no, no they aren't 😛

- Nanbaka - Action comedy of inmates at a prison

- Brave Witches - A continuation of the Strike Witches series from a year or two ago.  Magic flying airforce girls.

Missed posting a few seasons on here.

Winter Anime 2017

- Kono Suba S2 - Second season of the loose fantasy anime about a guy that died, and for his second life got to go to a fantasy world.. but his companions are a pretty 'useless'

- Chaos;Child - A sequel to Chaos;Head.   Its all about some of what you see, what is reality and what is not.  Best to watch chaos;head before this one.

- Ao No Exorcist (Blue exorcist) S2 - Second season of a series, about a kid, who finds out he is the son of Satan.. while the whole time he has been living with exorcists.  All he wants to do is kill Satan.

- Tales of Zestiria S2 - Second season about the Sheppard, a man destined to cary great power and rid the world of melevolance.

Any you would highly recommend? My last attempt at an anime series was Terraformers Season 2, which turned out to be such a disappointment. I honestly wish they would stop adding so much filler and drag on battles....

I've been getting my fix from Manga/Manghua at the moment.

Yeah, terraformers 2 was.. meh.  Good to see a little more of the story.. but i dont like that they changed studios.. the animation style changed, etc.

Of NEW stuff.. not a lot.. not that much great stuff lately.

But may have some little bit older ones possibly.

What sort of Genres do you normally like?

Lately I've been into alot of those martial arts mangas. Used to be a die hard Gundam fan, but everything went down hill after the 00 series.

Martial arts.  Hm.. will have to take a peek at my listing and seeing what i have that you might be interested in.

Generally, i love Mecha/powered suit anime.. but I was never able to get into Gundam.  Totally loved things like Robotech, etc.
Some miliary based ones.  Most general fantasy/sci-fi ones.

Not always generally a fan of the 'slice of life' ones.. not enough going on, though there is sometimes some suprises.

Rokka was good.. no 2nd season though yet 😞
Both seasons of Gate are great.

Anyways.. onto..

SPRING ANIME 2017:

- Shingeki no Kyojin Season 2 - Attack on Titan season 2... enough said!
- Dungeon ni Deai wo Motomeru no wa Machigatteiru Darou ka Gaiden: Sword Oratoria - Long name! Dungeon crawl anime, but may have some merrit

- Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Akashic Records - Magical Academy
