Attention Swifties! Are you ready for it? 

 

Many of us waited to get the elusive tickets to Taylor Swift |The Eras Tour last August. We lined up for virtual wait lists, it turned out All Too Well for some and it was a Cruel Summer for the rest of us. 

 

Soon You’ll Get Better, Rogers the presenting sponsor for Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour in Canada, and we’re giving our customers the chance to win 1 of 35 pairs of tickets every week to the Toronto or Vancouver shows. 

 

Here’s how you can enter your ticket-winning era: 

 

Who will receive an email or text with details on how to enter the contest? 

Rogers customers with eligible accounts in good standing will receive an email or text. If you are subscribed to marketing  communications, you're already on the list and there's no action on your end. If you have previously unsubscribed, please reach out to RogersLovesTaylor@rci.rogers.com or mail-in your entry. 

 I’m a Rogers customer, how do I enter? 
You’ll receive an email or text message with contest details and a simple way to enter the contest. 

Are you a customer but didn’t get an email or text message?  
You may have unsubscribed from our communications. Please reach out to RogersLovesTaylor@rci.rogers.com or mail-in your entry. 

Are you a new customer?  
If you become an eligible Rogers customer with a new subscription, and have not received a contest invitation within 7 days, please contact RogersLovesTaylor@rci.rogers.com or you can mail-in your entry.

Is there a way to update/check your email/SMS subscription preferences from your profile?

 

I know if you click the banner it will say 'you are now subscribed for notifications', but is there a part to CHECK if you are subscribed or where you can unsubscribe?

 

I clicked the banner a few days ago and did not receive a text or email over the last two days

You can sign in to your MyRogers account to resubscribe or update your contact information under Settings - Contact & Billing - Contact information.

 

Once you resubscribe or update your account, you will receive an invite in our next weekly email. Please check out our FAQ here for more information.

Hi @RogersJermaine ,

When I go to Contact & Billing > Contact Information, there is nothing that states my subscription preferences

Also, for my wireless number, it says 'Please verify your wireless number to help keep your account secure. Verify now' and when I try to verify it with the 6 digit code, I get an error that says "Sorry…Something went wrong on our end. Please try again or check back later.

If you continue seeing this message contact us"

 

It has been going on for at least a few days, so I cannot verify my phone number

 

I have not received any texts/emails for promos or any bill reminders

 

I do not believe my account is subscribed to notifications but there is no where for me to check

Hello again @josun45 ,

 

Just to clarify further, those who are NOT currently subscribed to our marketing materials should see the Taylor Swift concert banner in their profile after logging in. Once you click on it and successfully sign up, you will be re-subscribed. You'll need to wait until the next round during the following week to receive the email/text regarding the contest.

 

Unfortunately, your online profile will not specify if you are subscribed or not. If you're still not seeing the email address and/or mobile number that you signed up with, please give it a bit more time to register.

FYI.

 

There is no way to enter from Rogers.com but there is an option on Shaw.ca.  What I mean by enter, there is no option to sign up for promotional emails.

 

Rogers staff and  whomever updates their website once again fails to provide detailed instructions.

I'm not sure if this is the case for people encountering problems with the MyRogers Website and not seeing the Taylor Swift banner, which I included in an earlier post, however, if you're using a device like a tablet or phone, make sure you're using the browser's desktop version and not the mobile version of the page. How you switch to the desktop version will depend on your device and your browser, but a search on the web should find instructions on how to do so.

 

Here's another link for when you have issues with certain websites, usually caused by cache or cookie issues.  A workaround that usually works is to use incognito or private mode for the browser since that bypasses faulty cookies, or use a "clean" browser.

Same issue here, no text, email or banner. An agent confirmed I am alreday subscribed for marketing communications. It does look like I will not be able to participate...

As mentioned by one of my colleagues in an earlier post, another option is to send via regular mail, 75 words (unique and original) on why you are a fan along with your name, address, day and evening telephone numbers, email address, and age, to the attention of:

Rogers Communications, 333 Bloor Street E. Toronto, ON Canada
M4W 1G9

 

You can send in up to two (2) Mail-in Entries per person, less any entries earned through the Contest Invitation by having eligible services. It must be received within the entry periods and there is a limit of one Mail-in Entry per envelope.

I'm new here

Not for all Rogers customers! We have three lines with Rogers and not one of us in the family received an email or text. When I called customer service, I was told that because my number and my daughter’s number are linked to my husband’s account, we are not eligible since he has a corporate account. We pay separately and have nothing to do with his account. I was told I can’t come out of this contract for 6 months so there is no way for us to even have a chance to qualify. There has to be some way around this. Seems unfair since we are paying customers as well. Ugh.

As my faith in Rogers is usually not very high, especially when it comes to this contest and being subscribed to the mailing list (I was never UNsubscribed in the first place)... I'm a bit nervous that I didn't receive anything today... Fingers crossed I receive something tomorrow

Like many others on here, I haven't seen any text or emails about this contest but when I go onto MyRogers I'm not seeing the banner to make sure I'm set up to receive communications.  I don't have any pop up blockers on and I even tried clearing my cache, using an Incognito window to make sure i wasn't getting an old version of the site, etc.

My wife and 2 kids have a separate Rogers account and only my daughter (not the prime account holder) got the text messages while my wife and other daughter didn't.  Doesn't seem to be any consistency on who's getting these promotional msgs

I can’t figure out how to enter either. I received an email for the first week but nothing since. I have tried to follow the directions to make sure I am subscribed but nothing works. I’ve been a customer since 1998. Frustrating.

I totally understand your desire to make sure you're entry is received for a chance to win Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour tickets.

 

If you received an invitation via email to enter the Contest, you must follow the link in the contest Invitation to be directed to the contest entry form; answer the questions and submit the form as instructed to earn one (1) entry in the upcoming draw. 

 

Unless you are selected and confirmed as a winner in a given entry period, your entry will carry over to any subsequent entry period. This means that you will not receive a weekly invitation email and do not need to submit the entry form every week.

 

Were you experiencing trouble filling in the form from the email you received during the first week of the contest?

We received no text or email, the banner no longer appears on the Rogers website (I do not have ad blocker and have tried the steps suggested in past messages to get the banner to appear).
