Rogers rippoffs

I've been here awhile

Everytime I called Rogers to speak to an agent they would end up sending me a new modem and a tv bov then attach a new account to my name. They also say that I have 3 cell phones which I do not, my cell phone is through Bell. Oh and the email address they have on my file is an email that I haven't used for almost 20 years. They won't resolve their mistakes but of course they want me to pay for all the accounts that they attached to my name which I obviously didn't authorize them to do. Am I in the wrong or are they? Just lookin for advice and opinions. Thank you

If it seems like you have multiple accounts attached to your name that you did not expressly authorize to be activated, then we need to investigate on your behalf to find out what's going on.

I think filing a police report would be the best place to start. Someone must have setup these accounts and would be using those cell lines.

Very good point, there could very likely be fraud involved here.

I absolutely agree that there is some kind of fraud going on but that's the thing the agent I talked to said it was the technician that came to my house to upgrade my services. Told me I had to get ahold of him then figure it out from there myself, said there was nothing they could do for me and I have to pay all the bills, I now have 6 TV and Internet  accounts plus the 3 cell phones which total over ($4500) or they will have no choice but to send them to collections which will destroy my credit. Cops can't do anything either because I can't remember the technicians name ..I've had problems before with someone doing fraud in my name 15 years ago and I'm still dealing with that, been dealing with this issue since October last year.  I just can't deal with anymore of this anymore right now...I've had enough

The cell phones haven't been setup but they still charge me about $100 a month anyway

I’m having a similar issue with Roger’s as well!! Being charged for cell phone service that’s not mine!! It’s unacceptable! Wanting us to pay for a service that’s not ours!

 

Getting really frustrated and annoyed with Roger’s customer service and billing. I’ve been with Roger’s under a month. I reluctantly made the switch to Roger’s after being with Bell for 15years, I’ve had issues with Roger’s in the past with being overcharged on my bill. I’ve contacted Roger’s 5 times to get my bill rectified and nothing has been done. I was charged for an extra phone line on my account and activation fees on that phone line and on mine. It’s been 3 weeks now and I’ve been trying to get these charges off of my bill. It’s not fair that I was charged for an extra phone line and service fees for a phone line/number I never used/had. My bill is $274. I called 3 weeks ago and was told my bill is supposed to be $105 but I haven’t seen the charges! I am not paying extra for these charges/services! I’ve been with Roger’s under a month and I’m ready to just cancel all my services! In 3 weeks I’ve called 5 times, in 15 years with Bell I’ve only called maybe 4 times. Roger’s, your billing and customer service is unacceptable! Can someone please resolve my billing issue?!
