Get With the Times ....

I've been here awhile

I have now been on hold for 1 hour and 37 minutes while they tell me "they are experiencing heavier than usual call volumes" (at 130pm (PST) on a Friday afternoon).  How can they be having heavier call volumes unless Canada is full of morons (like me) who opt to stay on hold?

WOW .... someone answered the call 1 hr and 48 minutes into the call.  Initially, she said she could not understand me so I moved my phone.to a better-known place in my office.  She said she still couldn't hear me.  I told her that it must be Rogers service as the cell I am using is on their plan and ... POOF ... she hung up.  2 hours of my day WASTED.  To say I am a little peeved would be a vast understatement.

Rogers needs to have a service whereby you "will not lose your position in the queue and can opt to leave your phone number and they will call you back".  A lot of other companies do that including almost ALL of my suppliers.

Stop wasting your customers time (who pay a pretty penny for your services).  We have our internet, 3 cells phones, a tablet and our landline with Rogers (because out west, where else is there to go ... Shaw was the last western based company) and pay almost $300 PER MONTH for this so called service..

Hello @TurdWranglers,

Welcome to the Community!

I realize how inconvenient it is to wait on the phone for hours. The best way to contact us is to connect on Live Messaging straight through your device. You can find more info and hours of operation here

So what answer do you have for those are waiting for Rogers even to START building the new cell tower around the corner from me because we have . cell service.  I tried using the CHAT option on my PC, but it is just a freaking bot or someone who types "I can't help you".  I was calling Rogers from my landline!!
