Hi Macey.
THere is no such thing as a Rogers Yahoo email app on the Samsung galaxy tablet.
The email app on the Samsung Galaxy tables is made by Samsung, but can access ANY email account from any provider.
Do you mean how to block email senders From my Rogers Yahoo email account on the Samsung Email App on my Samsung Tablet?

@Macey : I'm not sure what the capabilities of the app on the tablet are, however, in Webmail (accessing Rogers/Yahoo! emails on the web), you can set up filters in the settings to weed out certain senders and place those e-mails into any webmail folder you want - like the spam folder, or the deleted folder, etc.

I should have asked how to block email senders from my Rogers Yahoo email account in the app? The app does not seem to have a settings icon or any obvious ways of filtering.

Thanks for the reply but the app does not have a settings gear icon.

As I stated, the app may not, however, there are settings in webmail. You have to login to Rogers/Yahoo! webmail. Here's a different link.

Edit for clarification - Webmail is the server where your emails are initially stored and come from. The app on the tablet simply "fetches" emails from that server. Depending on your configuration and preferences, the emails are then stored in both places, but webmail allows you to do the filtering you requested.
To login to webmail, use the above link, then click on the Rogers Yahoo hyperlink and login using your e-mail address and password. You may be asked to provide a cell phone number for MFA (Multi-factor authentication)
