Calls going straight to voicemail

I occasionally get calls going straight to voicemail. It's not all the time, just occasionally, and it's not like it's just when I have a bad signal, it happens when my signal strength is fine. This is a huge problem considering I work at a hospital and am on call. The crazy thing is, my phone and phone plan with Rogers it through the hospital.

In my experience, hospitals are notorious for blocking cell signals. They way they're constructed and designed can disrupt a cellular signal. I understand this is highly inconvenient however as a hospital worker.

I'll need to determine exactly where you're experiencing these issues and ask some troubleshooting questions.

The calls that went straight to voicemail were are at home. Saturday I had a missed call that went straight to voicemail, one minute later they called again and this time it went through.

Recent phone update on Android phones drops the calls staining as the SPAM, even stars with legit area code. See In recent call list.
