Outrageous Billings

So every other cell company that I've contacted gives you a phone for free as long as you sign it to your contract as long as long as you stay above a certain rate of a of a plan
Rogers is charging me full price for the phone and is still trying to tell me that I have to stay with a $70 plan for 2 years
My first bill I started getting Texas and emails non-stop after 1 week saying that I had an outstanding balance of 200 and something dollars in my phone was going to be cut off
After 1 month I got a bill for $400 and something
So since day one the phone hasn't been working properly it's been freezing up not making calls and I thought it was just the area I was in I've since found out that it's a problem with the phone and it's getting worse and worse I tried to return it they wouldn't let me I called to speak to a manager at Rogers when I bought the phone and they told me sorry they don't request managers on the phone and they don't take messages I have to come in
I went in the store and they wouldn't return it they said I had to mail it in
To send it in for servicing under warranty they want a $200 deposit for a loaner phone even though this is a brand new phone under warranty that's 1500 dollars
Every month I got another $400 bill it was only supposed to be $150 a month
They wouldn't budge by talking to them so I went and went to another cell carrier
I contacted the crtc
Rogers contacted me from the president's office and threatened me and threatened to turn off the phone that didn't send it to collections and then locked the phone I reported it as blacklisted
I just got another bill $1,400 for one month and a $3,000 bill it's only been 6 months
I found every other cell company and every other cell company will give me the exact same phone brand new for free with a $70 plan
So if I haven't been using their service and I owe for the phone that's only $1,500 how is it $3,000 and something and it keeps going up $1,600 every month
I contacted crtc again and when they emailed me back there was information stating that while there's an open Report with them at Roger's not allowed to ask me for any money they're not allowed to threaten me with the credit bureau and they're not allowed to turn off the phone
So now I know why Rogers lied and told the CR to see that they never talk to me

The aspect you are missing is the fulfillment of the contract. If you signed up for a two year contract. Terminating early more than likely requires you to still pay for the remainder of the two years of service as well.

And I forgot to add that Rogers went and acquired my credit card information from when I first picked up the phone at the Rogers store and they've been constantly trying to take out automatic payments out of my account that were never authorized

I signed the contract for $150 a month not $400 a month and the last bill the monthly bill was 1600 for one month

Rogers is a scam and since they bought shot which they weren't supposed to be allowed to now all the Roger and Shaw free Wi-Fi don't work you spend 10 minutes trying to sign up and then it tells you error they're one of the biggest companies in the world now they own all the Arenas and the stadiums and they can't even fix their free Wi-Fi because it's not making the money

I got told by chatter to go with Rogers because it would be cheaper it's been nothing but a pain
