I got a call from claiming he is Rogers rep and he said, I am offered iPhone Pro Max 15 for free. He was asking my personal information. I told him I’m not interested to get new phone and finished the call. And then I received an automated message from Rogers regarding my current balance and my last 4 digits of my account. At the same time he called informing me that I have received a message from and he told my current balance and last 4 digits of my account number. I felt at this point he is legit and started answering his questions about my email address and physical address but I refused to give him my first and last name and date of birth and I asked him about my his name and employee number which he provided. My major concerns not the scam call itself, my concern is that someone Rogers’ third contractors is using Rogers to scam people.
I called Rogers and they said they will send my issue to the fraud department.
What should I do next?
