Possible Scam

JoniA
I've been around

I just got a call from someone supposedly from Rogers sales and promotions from a heavily accented man named "Mark Robinson" who said I had to confirm my address due to privacy policies. I gave him address and DL before realizing what was going on. Gave his direct number as 7786529919

Hi @JoniA ,

Thanks for joining us in the community and for posting about your recent experience. I'm glad to hear that you clued into it being a scam before it went too far. I would also recommend that you add a security PIN code to your account for an additional layer of security, and you may also want to update your password for your MyRogers profile online (just to be safe).

For help with adding a security PIN to your account, feel free to send us a PM @CommunityHelps. For more information on how our Private Messaging system works, please check out our blog. Once a PIN code is added, it will need to be provided on every interaction with us before we can proceed.

Kind regards,

RogersYasmine
