I've been around

I got an email from (davemargaret AT rogers.com)  stating the following:

We are committed to serving Canadians and keeping you connected to what matters most.
Below is the Discount Concerning the 30% Promo giving on your Account.
Congratulations!!
Then I am asked to click a button to "View Discount"
Anyone else getting this?

Greetings @adbennett2934

Congrats on your first post with us! 🙌 Thanks for bringing this to our much needed attention. Unfortunately, there are an abundance of phishing scams out there, and one can't be too cautious nowadays.

With the information you've provided thus far, it certainly does not appear to be a legitimate email sent from us. If I may suggest, please refrain from responding to the email, providing any personal or account related information and clicking on any suggested links. Instead, forward the email to abuse@rogers.com and kindly make sure to include the following details in your email to Rogers:

  • Include a brief description of the issue
  • Copy and paste the full email headers above the body of the forwarded email

With that said, feel free to provide a screenshot of the email here while ensuring you omit any of your personal/account related information so we can take a look to confirm the validity of the email you received together as well.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

RogersJo

I've been here awhile

I received the same message and, taking your advice, forwarded it to the 'abuse' email address.
