Last week as I was driving in the evening, I received an email from Rogers asking to verify some information and because I have been entering the contest to win Taylor Swift tickets for my daughter I thought maybe it had something to do with that. Shortly after I lost all service on my cell phone and could not make any calls. At the time I was driving and lost my access to google maps which I was using to get to where I was driving to. This created much havoc as I become lost as to where I was driving and no access to my cellular network to make a call or use the maps to guide me where to go. After a long drive of finding my way home I was terrified to learn someone had hacked into my account and managed to change my pin. What I don’t understand was why Rogers didn’t contact me before disconnecting my cellular service. It could have ended very badly with no access to a phone call or directions. How can I be compensated for a very scary evening that my daughter and I encountered?
