New Ignite TV packages RE: Sports

sadchel
I plan to stick around

I currently have Ignite Premier TV package that includes TSN 1-5, and Sportsnet 1, 360, East, West & Pacific included in that package

My promo ends in January,  From what I understand the new Ignite Total TV package ONLY includes TSN 1&2 , Sportsnet 1, East, and 360

In order to get TSN 3,4,5 and Sportsnet West & Pacific I HAVE to pay $25 for the Sports theme package.

Can a mod please confirm if that is correct that these sports channels no longer are included in Ignite Total TV

thanks

Not quite sure why you say that.  When I look at the bundle offering, and "check availability" putting in my address, I get the options to click on the channels tab near the top of the page, or the 160 Total channels included in the total package and all the sports channels you mention (TSN 3,4,5 and Sportsnet West & Pacific) are there and included in Total.

That is strange, when I go my MYRogers Ignite TV bundles

Ignite Total TV has only 156 channels  and those sports channels are not included.  Maybe I'm missing something

Rogers has a funny way of packaging TSN.  The "TSN1" Flex Channel actually includes TSN1, TSN3, TSN4 and TSN5; TSN2 is packaged as a separate Flex Channel.

As for Sportsnet, with Premier, you can subscribe to Sportsnews, Sportsnet Ontario. Sportsnet ONE, Sportsnet 360, and Sportsnet East (which also gives you Sportsnet West and Sportsnet Pacific but are subject to blackouts.)

Here's a screen capture from a Total TV printable channel listing that I requested from Rogers.  It has errors in it (e.g. it does not show TSN5 in the lineup) but I think it is safe to say that with Total TV, we should have access to all the TSN and Sportsnet channels that we had with Premier, and more.
