Hello Sports Fans!

The time has finally come, the NBA Playoffs are kicking off again with the AT&T Play-in Tournament.

The NBA introduced the AT&T Play-in Tournament in the 2020-2021 season, and it was a big success among fans and the league. It was so competitive and exciting that the league officially adopted it as a full-time part of the NBA Playoff picture.

The play-in tournament gives more teams a chance to make the 16-team postseason playoffs. In the past, only the top 8 teams from each conference would make it to the playoffs. With the play-in tournament it allows the 9th and 10th seed teams a chance to make it to the Playoffs.

How it works

In round 1 of the tournament, the 7th and 8th seed teams will play off to determine which team will get the 7th seed in the conference. The 9th and 10th seed teams will play off for a chance to play the losing team of the match between the 7th and 8th seed teams.

In round 2 of the tournament, the two remaining teams face off to determine the 8th and final spot in the playoffs.

Round 1: Games on Tonight

This year, Trae Young and the Atlanta Hawks will be heading to South Beach to square off against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat for the 7th seed in the Eastern Conference. You can watch the game tonight at 7:30 PM EST on SN360.

In the Western Conference, Anthony Edwards and the Minnesota Timberwolves will be heading to LA to square off against LeBron James and the LA Lakers at Crypto.com Arena for the 7th seed in the Western Conference. You can watch the game tonight at 10:00 PM EST on SN360.

Round 1: Games on Tomorrow

Our Toronto Raptors, Canada’s team, was able to secure the 9th seed in the Eastern Conference which grants home field advantage to the Raptors in their match against a familiar foe in Demar DeRozan and the Chicago Bulls. We need all the North to be cheering proudly and loudly for the Raptors so we can secure the W and get into the 2nd round of the Play-in tournament and have a shot at the Playoffs. You can watch the game tomorrow at 7:00 PM EST on TSN4.

The final Play-in match is featuring Ontario’s very own Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and the OKC Thunder squaring off against Brandon Ingram and the New Orleans Pelicans. Both teams have made some great strides towards the end of the season and should be an exciting game to watch. You can watch the game tomorrow at 9:30 PM EST on TSN1.
