Ability to rewind and restart shows on Firestick App:
Due to the exorbitant cost of the set top box rental ($18 — was like $5 at one time and only 1 free with current promo) I opted for a Firestick as the sales rep told me the app was great.
While the app works okay, it has some flaws, IMO.
If memory serves the former rogers streaming app did allow for the restart of many channels and life shows, and rewinding of current shows being watched. It would be great if that could be an added feature.
It would be great if there was a feature inside the Firestick Xfinity stream app to enable night sight (blue light reduction) similar to what iOS can do.
And/or the ability on a scale of 1-10 to simply dim/darken the screen. I enjoy watching TV in bed while my partner sleeps, and the ability to dim my screen would be fantastic.
I find the layout for the channel listing in the Xfinity app is too bulky and large — can only see 5 or so channels at a time. It would be nice to have some options to toggle — compact, normal, large, etc.
Also on a channel when you hit a button and see the time slider, on the Bell Fibe app below that several rows pop up: your favourite channels, 5 most recent channels and a row of top show live now. This would be nice rather than having to return to the listings every single time.
