Xfinity TV connect to home wifi Winnipeg-Northwestern Ontario

I am from Winnipeg, I can use my Xfinity streaming while in Winnipeg on my rogers phone. When I am at my cottage in Northwestern Ontario some channels are not allowed and want me to connect to my home wifi. Northwestern Ontario is considered local to Winnipeg and I had no problems like this when I used satellite tv, Ex: Tsn hockey games available in Manitoba, Sask, Northwester Ontario etc...

My cellphone connection thinks I am in Toronto or London when I am only 10 miles across the Manitoba border in Northwestern Ontario. is there some way to fix this.

When you're not on your home network, you are limited to the "TV Go" channels.  Different providers have different agreements with the rights owners as to what can be streamed where.  Rogers cannot be streamed outside Canada for example.
