Unable access a particular (my own) website

nelson25
I've been here awhile

For over a month I am unable to access my own website on my android phone and my Lenovo  laptop. I use Microsoft edge, chome and firefox. This is the error I receive- The connection for this site is not secure premiera.best sent an invalid response. ERR_SSL_PROTOCOL_ERROR. On speaking to Rogers CS their simple response was 'we don't block sites check with website provider. I have done that. The issue is 100% from Rogers side. If I try to log in from anywhere, repeat anywhere except at home I can access the website with no issues. Today I accessed it at Rogers centre as a guest. Please HELP

One other thought. Launch the Rogers Xfinity app, click on Overview and make sure Advanced Security is off, then reboot your Gateway.

I get this:

This site is blocked due to a phishing threat”

Re: Unable access a particular (my own) website

That is more than likely caused by your browser. Most browsers have an option enabled by default to block malicious and potentially dangerous sites. Usually, clicking on advanced and continuing to the site is possible to iverride this when the setting allows for that. If your browser doesn't, you may have to disable that setting. Some antivirus software suites and ad-blockers also contain plugins to block malicious and dangerous sites.

It’s not my browser, it is the internet provider I am currently using and their cloud security.

Whenever we have seen these sorts of threads in the past we have found that it is not a Rogers issue.  See the following results when searching the web for premiera.best:

https://www.scamadviser.com/check-website/premiera.best

If your website is premiera.best, I can get to it just fine and I'm on Rogers in Toronto.  See screenshot below:

PremieraPremiera

If I don't have the URL correct, please provide us with the correct link:

In the meantime, check out the following tips for dealing with recalcitrant websites:

https://communityforums.rogers.com/t5/MyRogers-Rogers-Apps/Tips-for-Rogers-Websites-amp-Apps/m-p/491...

For example, try Incognito mode on Chrome or Private Mode to bypass any cache or cookie issues and turn off any extensions like adblockers:  Then go through the other tips if that doesn't do the trick.

Edit - also try reducing security levels in the browser settings temporarily and turn off secure connections which flags these sites.

Hi yes this is the right url Honestly I have tried everything possible and still no luck. Like I said I can access my website from anywhere be it Rogers, Bell and any browser except when I am logged on to my wifi at home. Let me share with you one more point, if I reboot by modem(by unplugging) I will be able to access my webpage just one or maybe twice and then again same error. So it has to do something with Rogers blocking my access at home. Honestly I have given it a month and may have to finally switch providers.

Did you try disabling "secure connections" in your browser?  Did you have a look through all the tips in my link?

Thanks genius! This worked right away on desktop, Android and all browsers instantly. I did not even have to reboot. Thank you.

Thank you for the feedback.  I've asked that be added to my list of tips provided earlier.
