Two connections.

Todlerone
I've been here awhile

Hi, I have the Home Ignite router. I live in a basement apartment and the ppl upstairs are going through some tough times so I want to share my Internet with them for now. I ran a CAT4 cable upstairs and they have a router connected. I have set the wifi to split into 2.4 and 5 separately and we each have different passwords. They are 2.4 side and I'm 5 side. I now have a device that can only use the 2.4GHz but can't connect to it. Is there a better way to connect upstairs and we both get both 2.4 and 5

I know your intentions are honorable, however, account splitting is against the terms of service. I'm not sure you'll get assistance with your topic.
