Here are some simple tips and tricks that can help you with the most common Ignite TV problems.

How do I reset my Ignite Entertainment Box?

  1. Start by unplugging the power cable, either from the power outlet in the wall or from the back of the Ignite Entertainment Box.
  2. Wait for 30 seconds plug it back in.
  3. An Ignite TV welcome screen should display, then the Ignite Entertainment Box will resume playing the previous channel.

You can also reset the Ignite Entertainment Box from the Ignite Voice Remote:

       From the Help Menu

  1. Press the A button on your Ignite Voice Remote to open the Help menu.
  2. Select Restart.
  3. Select Restart again to confirm.
  4. Wait a few moments for the system to reboot.

“No Signal” on the TV screen?

These are the most common causes for this issue:

  • TV is on the wrong input
  • HDMI cable is unplugged
  • HDMI port issue
  • HDMI to Composite Adapter issue
  • Faulty HDMI cable

Here are the few steps you can take to correct the input issue:

  • Check that all cables are connected securely, and the STB has a solid white light
  • Check that the TV is on the correct input
  • Replace HDMI cable
  • Reboot the Ignite Entertainment Box.

Having issues using a sound bar or audio system?

Sound bars or audio systems are examples of third-party equipment that Rogers doesn't support. But you can try changing the HDMI Audio Output setting to help resolve some issues when using additional audio equipment.

  1. Press the Rogers or Menu button on your remote.
  2. Select Settings (the gear icon).
  3. Select Device Settings.
  4. Select Audio.
  5. Select HDMI Audio Output.
  6. Choose Expert Mode.
