Roaming vs ROAMING

moxy
I plan to stick around

According to Rogers' own Tech Essentials Quiz (http://techessentials.rogers.com/quiz.aspx), roaming is using another carrier's network.  Why does my bill show roaming minutes (ROM) when I only use my phone within Canada?

On the same vein, why are there charges for Wi-Fi "Roaming" (RUO) when the call doesn't travel through any carrier's network?

You can roam though in canada right?

If you were in an area, not covered by rogers, but there was BELL coverage, you could roam to a bell tower and be charged?

Re: Roaming vs ROAMING

Our network currently covers 95% of our population, however, in remote areas (such as northern Canada), we offer domestic roaming.  See www.rogers.com/roaming for more details.
