switching phone

Marco12
I've been here awhile

Hi,

I have a Samsung S24 with a contract with Rogers.

I would like to use my contract with another Phone.

Is it possible?

If yes, how should I do considering that I am using an esim?

Thanks,

Marco

I do not remember how but you CAN swap E-Sim cards too, and change it to another device, just get the new phone you want to use and swap the esim to it,  i recommend the physical sim as you can do it in another country and dont need online access

Being in a contract for a device doesn't mean you have to use that specific device on your line or account. i oicked up a Pixel 6 Prp for my grandmother a while back on a 25 month term that she used on her Bell service. Just keep making your payments. If you are on a lease, keep track of when the device needs to be returned or the purchase option becomes available.

If you are switching to another Samsung device, you can use SmartSwitch, which should also give you the option to transfer over your eSIM.
