So I have a Flip4 and I'm sending it in for a third time now to fix the screen to fold flat and stay flat. After repair the Flip4 won't unfold flat after just a week of use! They won't give me a new phone or a loaner phone, but they keep repairing the old phone, 1 or 2 months without a phone just to get it back for a week and I have to send it for repair!
What should I do? Sell it?

Hi @Canafindian, it's really unfortunate to hear about your woes with the Flip4. I haven't heard similar feedback so far. How long have you had the phone for? Maybe you can look into upgrading to another device?

Hi Zia, I've had the Flip4 only 4 months and each repair takes a month. This will be my third repair and without replacement. This is unfair, Roger's has my phone more than I do. When will they repair or replace or even have a loaner phone to make this contract agreeable to the customer? What can I do, I feel nobody cares and I paid over $2500.

Thanks for the additional info! I'm really sad to hear about your experience so far with your new Flip4 phone. Especially with how cool and unique a design it is!

 

Just to clarify, are you going through a Rogers-branded location when sending your defective device in for the repairs? And each time your device is returned to you after the repair, has the issue been resolved? Or has it never been resolved?

 

Please note that your 1 year manufacturer's warranty does not include getting your phone replaced. This option is only available during the first 30-days under Buyers Remorse, if you meet the requirements. Alternatively, if you are subscribed to the Premium Device Protection Plan available through Likewize (third party company), then you may be eligible for a replacement through them as well. Please advise if that is the case.

 

We do offer courtesy phones during the repair period, if available. Unfortunately, this option is not guaranteed and is dependent on each location's stock and availability.

 

Also, have you tried connecting with Samsung directly to advise them of the ongoing issues you've been experiencing? I'm wondering if they would be able to provide a like for like replacement, being that you are still within your 1 year manufacturer's warranty.

Anyone having problems folding the Flip4 open and it won't stay flat?
From there the upper screen starts to be glitchy until it no longer recognizes touch!
Repaired twice and will be sending it in to be repaired for a third time because the repair is just a quick fix and the warranty will do anything but replace the defective phone!
