Access to voicemail not working

After porting my number from Fido to Rogers, when I hold "1" to access my voicemail I am promted with Fido voicemail greeting and asked to enter my Fido mobile number.
I am unable to access my Rogers voicemail.

Call rogers and ask them to do a Resend to Switch on your line

Some grey market phones might retain the old providers voicemail retrieval number in memory even when you swap sim cards,  if a Resend to Switch does not work, call back and ask the agent for the voicemail retrieval number and manually program it in the phones internal setting, its really not hard to do.
