Scam text forwarding

bishnubabu
I've been around

I do forward the scam texts to 7726 but it seems the sender’s phone number is not included. Will Rogers know it by default? Or the scammer’s number is not important?

Rest assured the number is NOT important as it could be a number of a Rogers customer who is unaware that spammers are spoofing that customers number.

The anti-spam filter only cares for checking the body of the text messages not the sender number as  the sender number can be spoofed.
