Scam attempt from roger's customer service number

Got a call from 888 764-3771 yesterday and today offering a 50% discount on my current plan, and AirPods pros. It felt too good to be true so I gave incorrect information for all questions. They were looking to fish the following information: 

1. Roger's account number
2. Rogers pin 
3. Address + DOB
4. Driver license number 
5. Email address 

It was clear it wasn't legit simply because I gave them incorrect information, and the caller pretended it was all correct.

They are asking for too much personal info, your rogers pin? yeah it looks like they are trying to take over your account to commit fraud.  just a thought,  thanks for being diligent and not giving them the correct info
