I recently initiated services with Rogers internet while in Giant Tiger in Brampton. I gave my information to hook up the internet. All is fine with the internet. About a month later I got an email that four phones had been hooked up using my information. At the time I was notified, by Rogers, about this activity the resulting bill was over $700.00... Since this activity wasn't me, I have reported this fraudulent use of my information to the authorities. I only post this here to advise others of the experience.
We have learned that the Rogers/Fido/Telus reps within Giant Tiger are merely VENDERS they rent the space they occupy within Giant Tiger.

Yes, we did report the fraudulent activity to the credit reporting agencies and to the police as well as to Rogers.
We just wanted to warn others that after we initiated services with Rogers (internet) at the Giant Tiger location at Airport (in Brampton) our information was used by someone else to open four cell phones.
